Spacehouse Himalayas is an artist residency — a quiet, nourishing space where ideas take shape and creations come to life. Set in the lush hills of Almora, Uttarakhand, Spacehouse welcomes artists and creative practitioners of diverse disciplines from around the world to come and find new inspiration in its surroundings, and make work without distraction.

 

In 2024, Goa Open Arts was invited to nominate artists to take part in an annual 3 or 6 week summer residency program, and have the opportunity to engage and interact with creators and thinkers from around the world. The collaboration furthers our commitment to invest in artistic practices from the Goan region, supporting artists to further their ideas through exposure to new environments and contexts.
