Shadow Script marks the 5th edition of Goa Open Art’s annual Catalyst and Engage Artist Grants, which was initiated with the aim of supporting the local arts community with monetary aid, mentorship  and dialogue, and an opportunity to create a display of their final grant projects. Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts has been a continual supporter of the program, and is the exhibiting partner for Shadow Script. 

The works on display engage with themes of time, memory, and perception—exploring what is visible, what remains hidden, and what endures. Shadows, both literal and symbolic, are utilized as a storytelling device, revealing histories, transforming landscapes, and evolving identities.
